This is a takaful product specifically offered to PLUS Expressways users that provides various coverage ranging from Accidental Death, Accidental Permanent Disablement, Accidental Hospital Income, Traffic Congestion Cashback, Hotel Accommodation Allowance, and Car Replacement Allowance Benefit, while you are travelling on PLUS Expressways (Coverage starts after you tap your TNG card or pass through using Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) Tag at PLUS Entry Toll Plazas).

Once your complaint has been submitted, our PLUS team will register your complaint case and conduct an investigation. You will receive a response with the outcome within 14 days. We will keep you updated on the status of your complaint and notify you if additional time is needed for the investigation.
Any private vehicles for personal means of usage, in which you are travelling in along the journey while using your registered Touch 'n Go Card or RFID Tag number to pay for the toll rates at PLUS Expressways.
In the event of a claim, you will need to provide details of your affected journey while travelling on PLUS Expressways. Such details (e.g. name of entry & exit toll plaza, entry & exit time, date) will be recorded in your registered TNG Card or RFID Tag that is used during your affected journey.
- Accidental Death and Permanent Disablement
Your sum covered as stated in your Certificate of Takaful will be paid in the
unfortunate event of death or permanent disablement due to accidental injury during
your journey within PLUS Expressways.
- Accidental Hospital Income
Supplementary coverage that provides daily cash allowance of up to RM50 while you
are hospitalised due to accident during your journey within PLUS Expressways, up to
a maximum period of thirty (30) days.
- Traffic Congestion Cashback
Supplementary coverage that provides compensation if you are suffering from
unexpected and unusual traffic congestion caused directly and solely by Major
Accident, flood, landslip, and bridge collapse during your journey within PLUS
Expressways.
Please note that the definition of Major Accident is limited to accident that
involves at least one (1) serious injury or one (1) fatality or activation of
Mandatory Exit or Contra Flow (as a result of Mandatory Exit activation procedure)
as reported by PLUS Expressways.
- Hotel Accommodation Benefit
If you suffer from vehicle accident/breakdown during your journey within PLUS
Expressways, and require overnight accommodation at a hotel as a direct result of
that incident, the certificate will provide compensation for such hotel
accommodation expenses for up to RM300.
- Car Replacement Allowance
If you suffer from vehicle accident/breakdown during your journey within PLUS
Expressways, and require your vehicle to be sent to a workshop for necessary repair,
the certificate will provide compensation for car rental expenses that is incurred
by you for up to RM100, and up to a maximum period of 5 days.

You have to participate in this takaful product at least one (1) day before your journey begins.
You can choose either a Weekly or Monthly coverage plan that suits your travel plans and budget. The Weekly plan has a coverage period of seven (7) days, while the Monthly plan has a coverage period of one (1) month.
Yes, there is a waiting period for Traffic Congestion Cashback. The eligibility for Traffic Congestion Cashback starts 24 hours after the effective date of your Certificate of Takaful.
Please be informed that under the Traffic Congestion Cashback, the following Special
Exclusions (in addition to the standard certificate exclusions) will apply:
No, you can only claim either Hotel Accommodation Benefit or Car Replacement Allowance Benefit and not both following the same covered event.
For Closed Toll System: The coverage shall commence from the moment you enter any of PLUS Expressways using your registered TNG card or RFID tag to pay for the toll rates at PLUS Expressways, and shall cease immediately upon your exit (at the exit toll plaza) using the same registered TNG card or RFID tag.
For Open Toll System: The coverage shall commence from the moment you drive through the toll booth at any of PLUS Expressways open toll system using your registered TNG card or RFID tag to pay for the toll rates at PLUS Expressways, and shall automatically cease ninety (90) minutes thereafter, or once you exit from the PLUS Expressways, whichever is earlier.
Closed Toll System PLUS Expressways shall mean PLUS Expressways with toll charges that are based on the vehicle class and the distance traveled by the vehicle when enter into and exit from the toll plaza of the PLUS Expressways. Payment of toll rate is only done at the exit of toll plaza. Below are belong to Closed Toll System PLUS Expressways.
Open Toll System PLUS Expressways shall mean PLUS Expressways with toll charges that have been set based on the vehicle class, where you only pay the toll rates upon enter to the PLUS Expressways toll plaza.
No, coverage will not be provided if you are travelling on other expressways that are not operated by PLUS Expressways Berhad. This product only provides coverage whilst you are travelling within any PLUS Expressways as following: -
